Structural Design, Estimation & BOQ

Code-compliant structural design packages and quantity-based estimates for owners, developers and contractors — clear drawings, calculations and bills of quantities.

This service answers

“Can I get a safe design and a transparent budget before I build?”

You receive: Design basis report, calculations, structural drawings and detailed BOQ

Design you can build from

A good structural design is safe, economical and buildable. Our design packages include a design basis report stating every load and assumption, calculations from a 3D analytical model, and drawings detailed for how buildings are actually built in Bangladesh.

What we design

  • RCC buildings: residential, commercial and multi-storey industrial
  • Pre-engineered and conventional steel structures
  • Foundations: footings, rafts and piles
  • Mezzanines, crane runways, water tanks and equipment supports
  • Strengthening schemes for existing buildings — see building strengthening

Every design is checked twice

Each design is analysed and detailed by one engineer and independently checked by a second before drawings are issued.

Transparent bills of quantities

We measure quantities from the drawings — concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, formwork, masonry — and price them on current market rates or the PWD Schedule of Rates. A BOQ lets you compare contractor bids line by line instead of comparing totals.

Our engineers also built EstimatrixBD, BOQ and rate-analysis software based on the PWD Schedule of Rates, which you can use for your own estimates.

Questions owners ask

Which code do you design to?

BNBC 2020 for loads, seismic and wind design in Bangladesh, with ACI 318 for concrete and AISC 360 for steel.

Do your drawings work for RAJUK submission?

We prepare structural drawings and calculations suitable for submission and coordinate with your architect, who leads the approval application.

Can you check a design prepared by someone else?

Yes. An independent design check is a cost-effective way to catch errors before construction starts.

Tell us about the building.

Send drawings, photographs or earlier reports. An engineer will reply with what investigation is needed and a proposal.
