Who we are
Prime Base Engineering is a structural engineering and construction company based in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. We assess existing buildings, design and carry out strengthening, and build new industrial facilities in pre-engineered steel and reinforced concrete.
We are a young company with an experienced team. Our founder and engineers have worked for years in Bangladesh's construction sector — on factory floors, in design offices and on site — including through the structural-safety programmes of the garment industry. We do not present projects delivered by our people for previous employers as company projects. Work completed under our own name will be shown on the projects page, with clients' permission, as it happens.
What we believe
- Test, then design. Material strengths are measured, not assumed.
- Every calculation traceable. Designs follow BNBC 2020 and recognised international codes, and every design is checked by a second engineer.
- Records belong to the owner. Design basis, test results and as-built drawings are handed over in an organised file.
- Honest numbers. Estimates show quantities and rates, not just a total.
Software we build
Our engineers developed EstimatrixBD, BOQ and rate-analysis software for Bangladesh built on the PWD Schedule of Rates, used by engineers and estimators for their own projects.
